To burn with desire and keep quiet about it is the greatest punishment we can bring on ourselves."Yes the Nairobi ladies staged demos on 14th of this month and protested against the famous Kenyan artist Nyashinski for leaving the bachelors club.The #somebodytellshinski was used by those ladies to express their unhappiness with the Nyashinski decision to get married to his longterm girlfriend Zia. They claimed that Nyashinski marriage was too sudden and he didn't inform them in advance.


Immediately after Nyashinski got wind of the matter he posted a picture of himself on his Instagram account wearing a hood with the words,"never mind the chaos."


As if that was not enough he went ahead and posted this on his twitter account,"my wife and i expecting our first born in a few weeks time.am gonna be a daddy soon."

Well seems its already too late for these Nairobi ladies.Do you think these ladies are somehow obsessed with Nyashinski or they just needed attention from the media?.Because some people claimed that these ladies had nothing to do with themselves on this valentines day and therefore they had to seek media attention.But they say if you could love someone and keep loving them without being loved back,then that love had to be real and it hurts so much to be anything else hence the reason why these ladies had to stage the demos.

 I was a bit hesitant to write about this but went ahead anyway. It is not like it has ever been a big secret, but every time I have talked about it I have earned pity, shame and endless questions.    file from my photos       Allow me to introduce you to my younger sister Wendy Gakii Muriuki.The year 2004 was when this beautiful girl was brought to the world. At first we didn't notice that she was deaf until she is two years old. After my parents realized this, they knocked every specialist door, talked to doctors, but all was in vain. To some of our neighbors, It was a "curse " as they termed it. I would not deny it, the world of disability is a lonely one, filled with tears ,pain and dashed hopes and many were the times I would ask myself how different life would be if she could hear.
